prirodnog svijeta.
povezanosti s prirodom i subjektivne dobrobiti adolescenata. Dio istraživanja proveden je u
srednjim školama na riječkom području, a dio na programima iskustvenog učenja u prirodi u
organizaciji udruge „Outward Bound Croatia“ u Lici.
doživljaja povezanosti s prirodom i učestalosti boravka u prirodi u objašnjenju subjektivne
dobrobiti.
s prirodom i različitih aspekata subjektivne dobrobiti adolescenata.
zajednicama s adolescentima u smjeru poticanja i produbljivanja njihove povezanosti s
prirodom.
Abstract (english) There is a trend towards spending less and less time in nature and separation of people from the
natural world. This is especially highlighted in the period of adolescence, during which levels
of nature connectedness decrease, with many other challenges that can lead to a decrease in
psychological well-being. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between nature
connectedness and the subjective well-being of adolescents. Part of the research was carried out
in secondary schools in Rijeka, and the second part was carried out during an experiential
learning program in nature organized by "Outward Bound Croatia" in Lika. A total of 249
respondents between the ages of 15 and 19 participated, of which 35 participated in the OBC
program. The new measure Nature Intelligence (Van den Berg and Albers, 2022) was used to
examine the connection with nature and various aspects of subjective well-being were included
in the research: life satisfaction, well-being index, positive and negative emotions, and general
self-worth. The results of this research confirmed the positive correlation between the frequency
of being in nature and nature connectedness, as well as the significant correlation of certain
measures of subjective well-being with certain aspects of connection with nature. It has been
shown that the experiential learning program in nature leads to an increase in the connection
with nature, but not necessarily to an improvement in subjective well-being, except in lifesatisfaction. The contributions of motivation and the frequency of time spent in nature
explaining the connection with nature were investigated, as well as the contributions of the
experience of connection with nature and the frequency of being in nature in the explanation of
subjective well-being. Most of the obtained results are in accordance with previous research,
whereby this research provides new information about the relationship between different
dimensions of nature connectedness and different aspects of the subjective well-being of
adolescents. The conducted research can be used to create guidelines for designing programs in
nature for adolescents, as well as a foundation for introducing changes in educational
institutions, families and other communities with adolescents in the direction of encouraging
and deepening their relationship with nature.
