Abstract Rad se bavi vizualnom poezijom subotičke grupe Bosch + Bosch.
Abstract (english) The work deals with the visual poetry of the group Bosch + Bosch established in Subotica. The concept of visual poetry is defined, which instead of marking the space between poetry and painting represents a completely new type of artistic production. Through historical examples of certain texts, an attempt is made to analyze how they highlight their visual structure. In pattern poetry, the visual structure is highlighted by the graphic appearance of the poem, in some examples this is done by means of typography, i.e. the use of different types and sizes of letters, or the poem takes on a completely mimetic form, as is the case in calligrams. Furthermore, the concept of concrete poetry is defined in more detail and an attempt is made to clarify the difference between concrete and visual poetry. The development of visual poetry is
described, and the greatest attention is paid to the conceptual artists of the 60s who used language, i.e. words, as a material for creating their works. Furthermore, several important historical events are highlighted in order to better explain the cultural and social conditions in our country and in the world. The Bosch + Bosch group operates within the new artistic practice of the 70s. The situation in Yugoslavia in the 1970s is particularly impressive because of the new artistic practice, that grew out of the existential reality of artists, as an international phenomenon that is part of the great wave of alternative culture. Accordingly, artists show resistance to the dominance of the art market and exhibit their works in free space or in student galleries. Visual poetry only opens access to new experiences, and almost all members of the Bosch + Bosch group have dedicated a part of their artistic creativity to visual poetry
