Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se pitanjem autorstva u popularnoj glazbi. Sam pojam autorstva je vrlo problematičan jer se poimanje autorstva kroz povijest mijenjalo i danas se još uvijek mijenja. U ovom rad su prikazana poimanja autorstva iz nekoliko različitih perspektiva, kao što su umjetnička, povijesna, pravna, industrijska i tehnološka. Sve ove perspektive su razmatrane u korelaciji sa autorstvom u popularnoj glazbi. U povijesnoj perspektivi objašnjeno je kako se poimanje autora mijenjalo kroz povijest, kako bi se ta poimanja mogla dovesti u odnos sa problematikom autorstva u popularnoj glazbi danas. U centralnom djelu ovog rada prikazano je poimanje autorstva unutar popularne glazbe kroz sociološku i glazbeno umjetničku perspektivu. U pravnoj perspektivi je objašnjeno kako su kreirani zakoni o autorskim pravima i kakav utjecaj imaju na kreativne prakse u popularnoj glazbi. Popularna glazba je danas dio sektora kreativnih industrija i proizvodi proizvode, uglavnom, za zabavu. U ovom radu je pojašnjeno što su to kreativne industrije i koja je pozicija autora glazbe unutar industrije. Najveći utjecaj na popularnu glazbu i autorstvo ima razvoj tehnologije te je u ovom radu pojašnjeno kako tehnologija utječe na kreativne autorske prakse i do kakvih je bitnih promjena u popularnoj glazbi došlo upravo radi razvoja tehnologije.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the question of authorship in popular music. The notion of authorship is very problematic because the comprehension of authorship through history changed and is still changing today. This work shows the comprehension of authorship from several different perspectives, such as artistic, historical, legal, industrial and technological. All of these perspectives are considered in correlation with authorship in popular music. From the historical perspective it is explained how the comprehension of the author has changed throughout history, so it could be compared with the problems of authorship in popular music today. The central part shows the comprehension of authorship in popular music through the sociological, musical and artistic perspective. The legal perspective explains the creation of copyright laws and the impact they had on the creative practices in popular music. Popular music is now part of the creative industry sector and manufactures products mainly for entertainment. This thesis clarifies what exactly creative industries are and what is the position of musical authors within the industry. The greatest impact on development of popular music and authorship had the development of technology and this thesis explains how technology affected the author's creativity and what important changes did the development of technology bring in popular music.
