This work confronts the philosophical considerations of technics and knowledge as transepochal categories which in their relationship throughout history establish what it means to be human. The goal of the following research is to recognize important changes from the early thinking of the terms τέχνη (technê) and ἐπιστήμη (epistêmê), to contemporary considerations of what has changed to this day as modern technology and modern science - technoscience. In the first chapter, in the texts of Xenophon, Plato and Aristotle, we will see, τέχνη (technê) as knowledge about doing is related to the logic of purpose and means and concerns contingent things, while ἐπιστήμη (epistêmê), as theoretical knowledge in a narrow sense, refers to the unchanging forms that man recalls as anamnesis. The second chapter, dedicated to the understanding of the changes that occurred in the establishment of modern sciences in the modernity, undertakes the presentation of new understanding of truth and the presentation of being, which occurred with the Cartesian turn. The third chapter, based on the reflections of Bernard Stiegler, shows the novelty of modern technology, but also technology as a transepochal event of the technical invention of man. Additionally, posthumanist interpretations of modernity are also represented. In the fourth chapter, the cybernetics discipline is explained as a new basic science and a symptom of a change in the technical system. Finally, the fifth chapter deals with the implications of cybernetical dominance over modernity, which are manifested in social dynamics, and presents the analyses of Gilles Deleuze and Byung-Chul Han.
