Abstract
Pred našim oĉima odvijaju se duboki društveni potresi, mijenja se duh vremena, mijenjaju se tehnologije rada i stilovi ţivota. Zahvaljujući intenzivnim društvenim promjenama, u drugoj polovici dvadesetog stoljeća tradicionalni model obitelji i brak dolazi u krizu. Pojavljuju se novi oblici transformiranih obitelji koji sve sigurnije zauzimaju njezino mjesto – nebraĉne, partnerske, homoseksualne, samaĉke obitelji, kohabitacije itd. Premda joj je u modernim patrijarhalnim društvima pojavnost donekle oslabljena, u prvome redu s propadanjem tradicionalne patrijarhalne obitelji, rodna ideologija i dalje je jedna od dominantnih ideologija naše kulture. Kao glavna društvena institucija i sredstvo odrţavanja patrijarhalnosti istiĉe se obitelj koja još uvijek visoko kotira na ljestvici vrijednosti suvremenog ĉovjeka u hrvatskom društvu. Provedeno istraţivanje je stoga za cilj imalo ispitati poloţaj ţene u suvremenoj obitelji te repozicioniranje uloge muškarca i ţene na primjeru grada Splita. Okosnicu vrijednosnog sustava graĊana ĉini mješavina tradicionalnih i (post)modernih vrijednosti. Primjećene nedosljednosti pri izraţavanju sekularnih i potrebe za odrţavanjem tradicionalnih stavova i konformizma pripisane su nesigurnim društvenim okolnostima. Iako se naziru neki retradicionalizacijski trendovi, vidljivi su i stavovi o egalitarnim rodnim ulogama što navodi na zakljuĉak da retradicionalizacija nije potpuna. Odbacivanje rodnog konzervativizma stoga je moguće objasniti kao tendenciju, prije svega meĊu ţenama, da sve više (su)odluĉuju o uvjetima svog ţivota, privatnog i radno-profesionalnog, kako bi bile slobodne i izgraĊivale istinski demokratsko društvo.
Abstract (english)
Deep social quakes are taking place in our eyes, changing the spirit of time, changing the technology of work and lifestyles. Thanks to the intense social changes, in the second half of the twentieth century the traditional model of the family and marriage comes to the crisis. New forms of transformed families are emerging and taking place - unmarried, partner, homosexual, single, cohabitation, etc. Although the phenomenon is somewhat weakened in modern patriarchal societies, primarily with the collapse of the traditional patriarchal family, gender ideology is still one of the most dominat ideologies of our culture. As the main social institution and medium of maintaining patriarchy, the family is still high on the list of values of modern man in Croatian society. The research thus sought to examine the position of women in the modern family and reposition the role of men and women on the example of the city of Split. The backbone of the value system of citizens is a mixture of traditional and (post) modern values. The observed inconsistencies in expressing secularism and the need to maintain traditional attitudes and conformism are attributed to insecure social circumstances. Although there are some retraditionalization trends, there are also views of the egalitarian gender roles, suggesting that retraditionalization is not complete. The abolition of gender conservativism can therefore be explained as a tendency, above all among women, to increasingly decide on the conditions of their lives, both private and professional, in order to be free and to build a truly democratic society.
