Abstract
Cilj je i glavna tema ovog rada prikaz i analiza svih žena engleskog kralja Henrika VIII. Tudora i kako je njihov suživot utjecao na Englesku kao kraljevinu. Kroz rad su prikazani životi žena i razlozi brakova i veza s njima te razlozi prekida ili, u nekim slučajevima, pogubljenja. Henrikov privatni život, među kojima se prvenstveno misli na njegove brakove, je uvelike utjecao na njegovu vladavinu. Imao je šest žena, od kojih je dvije dao pogubiti, s dvjema je poništio brak, jedna je umrla prirodnom smrću, a jedna, ujedno i posljednja, ga je nadživjela. Zavadio se s Katoličkom crkvom i raskrstio s njom jer mu papa nije htio dati razvod braka te osnovao Englesku crkvu, a sve to jer je tada bio vođen srcem i htio oženiti svoju ljubavnicu Anu Boleyn jer se nadao da će mu ona dati toliko željenog sina i nasljednika. S Anom Boleyn je i započela nova era u Henrikovom životu gdje se rješavao svojih žena ukoliko mu ne bi odgovarale te tražio uvijek iznova novi brak i mogućnost za novim nasljednikom.
Abstract (english)
The goal and the main topic of this paper is the presentation and analysis of all women of King Henry VIII of England and how their coexistence influenced England as kingdom. Through the paper are shown the lives of woman and reasons for their divorce, or in some cases, executions. Henry's private life, among whom it is primarily thought of his marriages, greatly influenced his rule. There were six women, two of whom had been executed, two with whom he had annulled marriage, one died of natural death, and one who was his last outlived him. He broke up every connection with the Catholic church and did so because the pope did not want to give him an annulment and he founded the Anglican church, all because he followed his heart and wanted to marry his mistress Anne Boleyn because he hoped that she would give him so much desired son and heir to the throne. With Anne Boleyn it began a new era in Henry's life where he got rid of his wives if they did not respond him well and always sought a new marriage and a possibility for a new heir.
