Abstract
Najpoznatiji bajko pisci svih vremena, Charles Perrault i Braća Grimm, sakupljali su narodne priče te ih prerađivali u skladu s razdobljem u kojemu su živjeli. Njihove su bajke bile namijenjene raznim uzrastima te se preko njih odražavalo stvarno stanje tadašnjega društva. Iako se naziva modernim, današnje društvo nije mnogo odmaklo od tih razdoblja, pogotovo u pogledu stereotipije muškaraca i žena. Jedni su od najopasnijih stereotipa oni rodni, koji na različite načine karakteriziraju ljude. Žene su većinom prikazivane kao krhke, nemoćne i lijepe, a muškarci kao dosjetljivi, hrabri i naočiti. Ovaj rad propituje nameću li se uz pomoć stereotipa mišljenja kao sredstvo manipulacije. Rad preispituje neke od rodnih stereotipa kao što su stereotip maćehe, kraljevne, kraljevića, stereotip o ljepoti i drugi.
Abstract (english)
The most famous fairy tale artists of all time, Charles Perrault and Grimm Brothers, collected folk tales and processed them according to the period in which they were living. Their fairy tales were intended for different ages and they reflected the actual state of the society at the time. Even though it is called modern, today's society has not been much distant from those periods, especially in terms of stereotyping men and women. One of the most vulnerable stereotypes are gender stereotypes, which characterize people in different ways. Women are mostly shown as fragile, helpless and beautiful, and men as witty, brave and gallant. This paper work examines whether stereotypes impose opinions as a means of manipulation. Paper work reviewed some of the gender stereotypes such as stereotype of stepmother, princess, prince, stereotype of beauty and others.
