Abstract
Metodologija kao teorija znanstvenoistraživačkog rada pomaže unaprjeđivanju znanstvenih spoznaja. Problem koji se istražuje određuje izbor istraživačke metodologije. To mogu biti kvalitativna ili kvantitativna metodologija ili pak njihovo kombinirano korištenje. Cilj ovog rada bio je ponuditi prijedlog nacrta i instrumenata istraživanja kojim bi se cjelovito mogla ispitati mišljenja odgojitelja o partnerstvu obitelji i predškolske ustanove. U nacrtu se predlaže kombinirani metodološki pristup s uvjerenjem da će on ponuditi optimalne rezultate istraživanja. Predloženi instrumenti istraživanja su anketa, skale procjene te intervju u obliku fokus grupe. U raduje naglasak na boljem razumijevanju partnerstva predškolske ustanove i obitelji što zahtijeva holistički pristup problemu i stoga kombinirano korištenje kvalitativnih i kvantitativnih metoda.
Abstract (english)
Methodology as theory of scientific research contributes largely to the advancement of scientific cognition. The choice of research methodology is being determined by the problem which is being researched. These methodologies could be either qualitative or quantitative, or even a combination of the two. The purpose of this paper was to offer a suggestion of a research plan and the instrument for the research whose aim includes a wholesome survey of educators’ views about the family and preschool institution partnership. The research plan proposes a combined methodology approach with the strong belief that it will offer optimal research results. The suggested research instruments are the questionnaire, the rating scale and the focus group interview. This paper emphasizes the importance of better understanding of the family and preschool institution partnership which requires a holistic approach to the problem and therefore the combined usage of the qualitative and the quantitative methods.
