Abstract
U ovom radu predstavljena je tradicijska kulturna baština poljičkog i omiškog kraja. Narodni običaji i mitovi čine značajni dio kulture i tradicije hrvatskog naroda, karakteriziraju njihov način života i njihova uvjerenja. Na osnovi običaja i mitova pojavile su se mnogobrojne usmene priče čiji su nezaobilazni likovi bile vile i vještice, ali i druga mitska bića. Također, u radu su predstavljene i raznorazne zagonetke i poslovice koje su ih uveseljavale te praznovjerja koja su ih plašila i na neki način upozoravala.
Abstract (english)
This work presents the traditional cultural heritage of the Poljica and Omiš region. Folk customs and myths make up a significant part of the culture and tradition of the Croatian people, characterize their way of life and their beliefs. On the basis of customs and myths, numerous oral stories appeared, whose inevitable characters were fairies and witches, as well as other mythical creatures. Also, in this work are presented various riddles and proverbs that impressed those superstitions that frightened them and warned them in some way.
