Abstract
Ovaj se rad bavi donatoricama likovnih djela na obali Jadrana. Prije predstavljanja analiziranog korpusa pruža se društveno-povijesna kontekstualizacija razdoblja kasnog srednjeg i ranog novog vijeka te položaja žena u navedenom razdoblju. Nakon toga se uspostavlja tipologija donatorica koje su podijeljene u tri poglavlja: supruge, udovice te oporučne donacije, a potom se svaka od navedenih tipologija elaborira primjerima iz hrvatskih zemalja i Italije.
Abstract (english)
This paper is concerned with women patrons of works of art in the Adriatic area. Before the representing of the analysed corpus, paper offers the social and historical context of the late medieval and the early modern period and women position in that period. After that, paper establish typology of women patrons which are divided in three chapters: wives, widows and testimonial patronising, afterwords each of the above mentioned typology is elaborated with examples from Croatian countries and from Italy.
