Abstract
Predmet sociološkog istraživanja su studenti i rad. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom ankete od rujna 2018. godine do travnja 2019. godine na uzorku od 78 punoljetnih studenata Sveučilišta u Splitu. Prema dobivenim rezultatima većini studenata je glavni izvor prihoda plaća od rada preko Student servisa, rade većinu godine i tijekom turističke sezone. Smatraju da poslodavci najviše profitiraju radom studenata. Većina često dolazi na fakultetska predavanja i smatra da ne zapostavlja fakultet zbog posla. Glavni motivi rada su im novac i želja da budu financijski neovisni od roditelja. Mišljenja su da minimalna satnica treba biti veća te da poslodavci često zapošljavaju studente zbog manjih poreza, manje plaće i kratkih ugovora. Ipak, na rad za vrijeme studija gledaju izrazito pozitivno.
Abstract (english)
The subject of sociological research are students and their work. The survey was conducted by a survey method from March 2018 to April 2019 on a sample of 78 regular time students at the University of Split. According to the results obtained the main income for the most students is salary from student’s temporary work, and they work most of the year and during touristic season. They find that employers are most profitable with the work of students. Most of them comes often to college lectures and does not think that they are neglecting college because of work. The main motive of their work are their money and their desire to be financially independent of their parents. Their opinions are that the minimum hourly rate should be higher and that employers often hire students for low taxes, lower salaries and short contracts. Still, they are extremely positive during the study.
