Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati stavove studenata nastavničkih usmjerenja (budućih nastavnika) o poželjnim i potrebnim socioemocionalnim kompetencijama nastavnika uključujući i samoprocjenu vlastitih socioemocionalnih kompetencija. U istraživanju je sudjelovao ukupno 121 student nastavničkog usmjerenja Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Splitu od čega je 82 studenata dvopredmetnog studija nastavničkog usmjerenja koji ne studiraju pedagogiju i 39 studenata dvopredmetnog studija nastavničkog usmjerenja koji, uz pedagogiju, studiraju još jedan predmet nastavničkog usmjerenja. Rezultati dobiveni ovim istraživanjem ukazuju na određene probleme kod prepoznavanja važnosti socioemocionalne kompetentnosti u određenim segmentima nastavničkog rada od strane budućih nastavnika, ali i otvaraju mnogobrojna pitanja vezano za izobrazbu nastavnika i osobne kompetencije studenata koji se odlučuju za nastavničko usmjerenje. Unatoč tome, ističe se podatak kako su studenti, većinom, na teorijskoj razini svjesni važnosti socioemocionalnih vještina.
Abstract (english)
This research aims to explore the students' (future teachers') attitudes towards teaching studies and towards preferred and necessary socio-emotional competencies of the teachers, including self-evaluation of their own socio-emotional competencies as well. This study included 121 participants who are students of double major teaching studies of the Faculty of humanities and social studies in Split. Out of 121, 82 students study two courses that do not include pedagogy, and 39 students study pedagogy and another subject of teaching studies. The results show that future teachers have some problems with recognizing the importance of socio-emotional competence in some segments of teaching, and they highlight the importance of some questions regarding the teachers' education and personal socio-emotional competencies for the students who decide to take teaching studies. Despite that, the fact that stands out is that most of the students are aware of the importance of socioemotional skills on a theoretical level.
