Abstract
Rad donosi analizu i usporedbu novopovijesnih obilježja u suvremenim romanima Ivane Šojat (Unterstadt) i Ludwiga (Ljudevita) Bauera (Kratka kronika porodice Weber). Prvi dio rada posvećen je teorijskoj obradi pojmova – postmoderni roman, historiografska metafikcija i novopovijesni roman. U drugome je dijelu naglasak na obradi i analizi novopovijesnih i tradicionalnih obilježja na primjerima iz romana. Oba književnika u središte stavljaju (nacionalnu) povijest i njezin odnos prema pojedincu, s druge strane, temi pristupaju iz različitih perspektiva, muške i ženske.
Abstract (english)
This paper brings analysis and compares the approach to history of Ivana Šojat (Unterstadt) to the one of Ludwig (Ljudevit) Bauer (The Short Chronicle of Family Weber). The first part of the paper is devoted to the theoretical concepts – postmodern novel, historiographical metafiction and new historical novel. In the second part, the emphasis is on the analysis of new historical and traditional elements from novels Unterstadt and The Short Chronicle of Family Weber. Both writers are focused on the (national) history and its relation to the individual, on the other hand, they approach the fiction from two different points of view, male and female.
