Abstract
Iako je klasični latinski jezik dugo vremena predvladavao kao najmoćniji jezik u određenim područjima Europe, osobito na području današnje Italije, govornici su ga u svom govoru krenuli zamjenjivati jednostavnijim izrazima, tzv. vulgarnim latinskim jezikom. Vulgarni latinski jezik bio je govorni latinski od kojeg su nastali romanski jezici, među kojima također i talijanski jezik. Većina talijanskih riječi potječe od govornog latinskog, no izraz latinizam upućuje na sve one riječi koje su ušle u talijanski iz latinskog pisanog jezika tijekom prošlih stoljeća. Cilj ovog rada je prikupiti latinizme iz prethodnih 30 godina, u razdoblju od 1989. do 2019. godine, te ih analizirati prema vrstama riječi, pripadnosti određenim semantičkim poljima te načinima tvorbe riječi.
Abstract (english)
Even though the Classical Latin language prevailed for many years as the most powerful language in certain areas of Europe, especially in the area of today’s Italy, the speakers began to replace it in their everyday conversation with simpler phrases and expressions, with the so called Vulgar Latin language. Vulgar Latin was the spoken Latin which gave life to the Romance languages, among which to Italian language as well. The majority of Italian words originate from spoken Latin, but the term Latinism indicates all those words which have entered Italian via written Latin during the previous centuries. Therefore, the aim of this study is to collect the Latinisms over the course of the last 30 years, from 1989 until 2019, and to analyse them according to parts of speech, semantic field and types of word-formation.
