Abstract
Samopouzdanje je dio samopoimanja, a označava vjerovanje da je osoba sposobna ostvariti svoje ciljeve, odnosno da je osoba sposobna izvesti određenje postupke koji će je dovesti do željenih ishoda. Za djeca koja samouvjereno vladaju svojim emocijama, savladavaju poteškoće prilikom rješavanja zadataka i izražavaju svoja mišljenja možemo reći da su visokog samopouzdanja. Međutim, djeca koja se povlače iz aktivnosti prilikom nailaska na prepreku, ne izražavaju svoje mišljenje, povučena su te se izoliraju iz skupine, imaju nisko samopouzdanje. Ova ponašanja ne možemo predvidjeti na temelju ponašanja i kontrole, nego na temelju toga vjeruje li dijete da može izvesti zadane aktivnosti o kojima se radi. Jedan od ciljeva svakog odgajatelja jest cjeloviti razvoj svakog djeteta i usmjerenost na njegove individualne potrebe. Prema tome svaki odgajatelj bi trebao biti usmjeren na razvoj samopouzdanja kao jedne vrlo važne osobine koja će dijete pratiti cijeli život.
Abstract (english)
Self-confidence is part of self-contecst, which means the probability that person is able to achieve their goals, or that the person will be able to perform certain actions that will lead to the desired outcomes. Children who confidently control their emotions, overcome difficulties in solving tasks and express their opinions have high self-confidence. However, children who withdraw from activities when encountering a problem, do not express their opinion, are withdrawn and are isolated from the group, have low self-esteem. Prediction of these behaviours cannot be based on behavior or control, but can be based upon the child`s belief in its ability to perform the given activities in question. One of the goals of every educator is the holistic development of each child and therefore every educator should be focused on the development of self-confidence as one very important trait that will accompany child for the rest of his life.
