Abstract
Brojalica je vrsta umjetničko-knjiţevnoga teksta, vrsta onomatopeje, kratka pjesmica, glazbena igra, igra riječima ili oblik dječjeg stvaranja. Dio je dječje knjiţevnosti, točnije dječje poezije koja je nastala iz usmene dječje knjiţevnosti. Brojalice dijelimo na govorene, pjevane, konkretne, besmislene i kombinirane. Uglavnom ih stvaraju djeca, a sluţe im za odreĎivanje tko će biti prvi u igri, ţmiriti, baciti ili odgovoriti, a samim time moţemo reći da su sastavni dio dječje igre. Prenose se s generacije na generaciju i pronalazimo ih u svim kulturama svijeta. U ovome se radu upućuje na korištenje brojalica u svrhu poticanja cjelovitog djetetovog razvoja.
Abstract (english)
The chant is an artistic-literary text, a type of onomatopoeia, a short poem, musical game, a word play or form of children's creation. It is part of children's literature, more precisely of children's poetry which emerged from oral children's literature. We divide chants into oral, sung, concrete, senseless and combined. They are mostly created by children for the purpose of determining who will play first in a game, be the seeker in hide'n'seek, first thrust the ball or answer a question thus making them part of children's games. They are transferred from generation to generation and are found in all world cultures. This work analyses their usage so as to encourage a child's development as a whole.
