Abstract
Egzistencijalistički govori Kierkegaarda i Jaspersa o Sokratu i Isusu upućuju nas na izvore odakle potječu. Drugim riječima, razlike njihovih govora odražavaju ujedno razlike njihovih egzistencija. Kierkegaard preuzima Sokratov komunikacijski model. Govori o vjeri kao formi života iz nje same, razlučujući je od svega pogrješno uopćenog kao vjere; mišljenja, znanja i zadivljenosti. Istina kršćanstva je paradoks, na kojega vjera egzistencijalno pristaje. Jaspers također inzistira na egzistencijalnoj prožetosti istinom. No, za njega istina nije ograničena okvirom jedne religije. Stoga će u životima autentičnih ljudi naići na istine koje su zadobile objektivnu vrijednost. Time će potvrditi svoju tezu o ljudskoj nemogućnosti dogmatskog obuhvaćanja transcendencije i, s druge strane, učvrstiti vjeru u različite mogućnosti ostvarenja slobode. Ona se pak najdublje ostvaruje u prisnosti odnosa s Bogom.
Abstract (english)
Kierkegaard's and Jaspers' existential discourses refer us to their own sources. In other words, the differences between their discourses reflect their existential differences withal. Kierkegaard accepts Socrates' communication model. He speaks about faith as a life form which arises from within it, dissociating it from everything else that is mistakenly understood as faith; opinion, knowledge and amazement. The truth of christianity is a paradox which is existentialy accepted by faith. Jaspers also insists on existential permeation of truth. However, according to him, the truth is not confined within a single religion. Therefore, he will find the truths which gained objective validity in lives of authentic people. That will confirm his thesis about inability to comprehend transcendence dogmaticaly, and, in addition, it will strenghten his faith in various possibilities for realization of freedom which finds its innermost realization in a close relationship with God.
