Abstract
Jedan od nezanemarivih problema današnjeg društva je svakako nasilje na radnom mjestu. Cilj ovog rada je ispitati stavove zaposlenika u privatnom i javnom sektoru u gradu Splitu. U radu se prikazuju i interpretiraju rezultati istraživanja provedenog u svibnju 2022. godine na uzorku od 300 sudionika u dobi od 18 do 65 godina. Rezultati su pokazali kako su zaposlenici u gradu Splitu doživjeli mobing, ali ga nisu prijavljivali u jednakim količinama. Ipak, svjesni su uzroka mobinga i posljedica koje on nosi, kao i određenih karakteristika zlostavljača te bi ga mogli prepoznati ukoliko bi se susreli s njim. Također, istraživanje je pokazalo da sudionici smatraju da je obuka o primjerenim reakcijama za sve zaposlenike najbolji način prevencije daljnjeg nasilja na radnom mjestu. Važan pomak se očituje u rezultatima koji pokazuju da bi sudionici prijavili mobing ukoliko bi ga doživjeli ili primijetili, što je svakako pozitivno te može pomoći u budućoj prevenciji istog
Abstract (english)
One of the non-insignificant problems of today's society is certainly violence in the workplace. The aim of this paper is to examine the attitudes of employees in the private and public sectors in the city of Split. The paper presents and interprets the results of a survey conducted in May 2022 on a sample of 300 participants aged 18 to 65 years. The results showed that employees in the city of Split experienced mobbing, but did not report it in equal quantities. However, they are aware of the causes of mobbing and its consequences, as well as certain characteristics of the abuser, and they could recognize him if they met him. Also, research has shown that participants believe that training on appropriate reactions for all employees is the best way to prevent further violence in the workplace. An important shift is reflected in the results which show that participants would report mobbing if they experienced or noticed it, which is certainly positive and can help in its future prevention
