Abstract
U radu je istraženo razlikuju li se preferencije učenika osnovne škole prema hrvatskoj tradicijskoj glazbi s obzirom na spol i dob te postojanje povezanosti između poznavanja glazbe i preferencija glazbenih ulomaka. U okviru istraživanja primijenjen je upitnik općih podataka i skala procjene za ispitivanje preferencija glazbenih ulomaka na uzorku od 166 sudionika, učenika drugih, petih i osmih razreda osnovne škole. Rezultati potvrđuju da učenici drugih i petih razreda, u odnosu na učenike osmih razreda osnovne škole, pokazuju veće preferencije hrvatske tradicijske glazbe. Nadalje, učenice, u odnosu na učenike, pokazuju veće preferencije hrvatske tradicijske glazbe. Poznavanje glazbe značajan je prediktor preferencija ovog glazbenog stila. Dobiveni rezultati imaju značajne glazbeno-pedagoške implikacije. Otvorenost učenika prema glazbi različitih glazbenih stilova sugerira mogućnost uvođenja heterogenih glazbenih stilova u nastavu glazbe. Osim toga, slušanjem i pjevanjem hrvatske tradicijske glazbe, ali i različitih glazbi svijeta, stvaraju se pretpostavke za provođenje interkulturalnoga obrazovanja učenika koje predstavlja imperativ suvremene škole.
Abstract (english)
The paper investigates whether the preferences of primary school students towards Croatian traditional music differ with regard to gender and age, and whether there is a connection between familiarity of music and preferences for music fragments. As part of the research, a general data questionnaire and an assessment scale were used to examine the preferences of music fragments in a sample of 166 participants, second, fifth and eighth grade primary school students. The results confirm that second and fifth grade students, compared to eighth grade elementary school students, show greater preferences for the Croatian traditional music. Furthermore, female students, compared to male students, show greater preferences for the Croatian traditional music. Familiarity of music is a significant predictor of preferences for this musical style. The obtained results have significant musical-pedagogical implications. Students' openness to music of different musical styles suggests the possibility of introducing heterogeneous musical styles in music teaching. In addition, listening to and singing Croatian traditional music, but also various world music, creates the preconditions for conducting intercultural education of students, which is an imperative of a modern school.
