Abstract
Projektni pristup u radu s djecom rane i predškolske dobi ima korijene iz početka prošlog stoljeća kada se ukazalo na važnost učenja temeljenog na znatiželji, interesu i iskustvu. Projektni rad je dugogodišnje implementiran u odgojne ustanove za djecu rane i predškolske dobi. Projektni pristup se bazire na istraživanjima, postavljanju pitanja i tijeku rješavanja problema iz stvarnog svijeta. Temelj projektnog pristupa je uključenost djece u istraživanja kojim se uče vještine iz svakodnevnog života, a ujedno se i odvija motivacija za samostalnim radom i otkrivanjem rješenja. Projektni rad može uključivati sudjelovanje odgajatelja koji proučava interes i tijek rada s djecom. Projektni rad je sklon fleksibilnom mijenjanju vremena završetka, promjeni metoda i dinamike interakcije. Teži postizanju ljubavi za cjeloživotno učenje i samostalnost u obavljanju zadataka. Projektni pristup doprinosi razvoju mašte, kreativnosti i komunikacije prilikom rada u grupi. Djeca razvijaju kritičko razmišljanje, vještine rješavanja problema i donošenja odluka dok rade na projektima koji od njih zahtijevaju prikupljanje informacija, analizu podataka i predstavljanje svojih nalaza. Praktična, istraživačka priroda projektnog rada također podržava razvoj fine motorike, kreativnosti i društvenih vještina. Radom u grupama djeca uče surađivati, komunicirati i uvažavati različita stajališta.
Abstract (english)
The project approach in working with children of early and preschool age has its roots in the beginning of the last century, when the importance of learning based on curiosity, interest and experience was pointed out. Project work has been implemented for many years in educational institutions for children of early and preschool age. The project approach is based on research, questioning and the process of solving real-world problems. The basis of the project approach is the involvement of children in research, which teaches them skills from everyday life, and at the same time motivates them to work independently and discover solutions. Project work can include the participation of educators who study the interest and flow of work with children. Project work is prone to flexibly changing completion times, changing methods and dynamics of interaction. It strives to achieve love for lifelong learning and independence in performing tasks. The project approach contributes to the development of imagination, creativity and communication when working in a group. Children develop critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills as they work on projects that require them to gather information, analyze data and present their findings. The practical, exploratory nature of project work also supports the development of fine motor skills, creativity and social skills. By working in groups, children learn to cooperate, communicate and respect different points of view.
