Abstract
Tema ovog rada bila je iznijeti metode rada s djecom s područja opće intelektualne darovitosti te istaknuti važnost pozitivnog učinka istih. Metode koje odgojitelji koriste pri radu s darovitim pojedincima, uz osnovna načela individualizacije i diferencijacije, uvelike utječu na daljnji razvitak njihovih visokih intelektualnih sposobnosti. Istraživanje provedeno u dječjem vrtiću Mimoza, koji pohađaju identificirana darovita djeca u integraciji s djecom koja pripadaju skupini nedarovitih, pokazao je kako je darovitoj djeci potrebno manje vremena za rješavanje zadanih zadataka. Odgajateljice su, pohađanjem različitih edukacija, upoznate s oblicima rada koje je potrebno provoditi sa darovitima, te njihovim specifičnim interesima posvećuju posebnu pažnju.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this thesis was to elicit the methods of work with children from the area of general intellectual giftedness and to stress at the positive effect of the methods. The methods that educators use while working with gifted individuals, using essential principles of individualization and differentiation, extremely impact on the further development of their high intellectual capacities. The test was implemented in the kindergarten "Mimoza", which hosts differentiated gifted children in integration with children of average cognitive development. The test showed that the gifted individuals need less time to solve the tasks given. One of the reasons is that the educators, who work with named individuals, are familiar with the methods of work with gifted children and give them their attention.
