Fairy tale is a literary genre that children encounter early. It accompanies them for a long time and leaves the strongest mark. The Grimm Brothers were inspired by fairy tales written by Perrault, and began to collect folk stories and processed them together. Their interpretation of fairy tales were similar to sources of oral literature and are located on the border between pure and true folk art fairy tale. Fairy tales read aloud or told, evoke quite deep emotions in children. But not so in all children and is sometimes useful to play a fairy-tale, especially with younger children. Puppet dramatization consists of several essential elements that significantly affect the result of the same. One of these elements is the puppet and animation of the puppets. The puppets that children create and use in their role playing can be very simple. It does not matter how the puppet looks, but what the child feels towards it. The puppet should not be chatty because it loses the ability to realize their scenic presence in much immanent way. For the purpose of this paper the fairy tale The Wolf and the Seven Goats by Brothers Grimm was adapted. For the purposes of the show the children, mentor and student created puppets and scenery. The play was performed by the student and mentor. After the show the children took the puppets themselves and performed their own puppet improvisation as an indicator of the success of the entire work.
