Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se aksiološkom analizom renesansne dubrovačke drame i usporedbom njenog tragičnog i komičnog modusa. U radu se najveća pozornost posvetila tragediji Atamante Frana Lukarevića Burine te komediji Tripče de Utolče Marina Držića, ali su se analizirala i druga dramska djela iz toga razdoblja kako bi se dobila relevantna usporedba. Aksiološka analiza usmjerila se na nekoliko ključnih pitanja: kako likovi vrednuju druge likove i sami sebe, kako je u djelu vrednovano mjesto i vrijeme radnje, koji se pojmovi ističu i kako su oni vrednovani te koji se likovi čine kao najvjerodostojniji. Iako se u brojnim poetikama ističu razlike između tragedije i komedije, ovom je aksiološkom analizom utvrđeno kako ta dva modusa imaju više sličnosti nego razlika. Neke od najvažnijih utvrđenih sličnosti vidljive su u protagonistu koji u oba modusa na početku preferira negativno vrednovane pojmove zbog čega biva kažnjen, uvijek negativno vrednuje svoju okolinu, njegovo vrednovanje je promjenjivo te on nikada nije najvjerodostojniji lik.
Abstract (english)
This thesis presents an axiological analysis of the Renaissance drama of Dubrovnik and a comparison of its tragic and comedic modes. The primary focus of this thesis are the tragedy Atamante by Fran Lukarević Burina and the comedy Tripče de Utolče by Marin Držić, but other dramatic works from the same period were also analyzed in order to give validity to the comparison. The axiological analysis centers on several key points: how the characters make value judgements about each other and themselves, what values are ascribed to the place and time the story is set in, which concepts are prominent, what values they have, and which characters seem the most reliable. Although many literary theories emphasize the differences between tragedy and comedy, this axiological analysis demonstrates that these two modes have more similarities than differences. Some of the most important similarities as demonstrated by this thesis are apparent in the protagonist, who in both modes starts off preferring negatively valued concepts, which leads to him being punished. He consistently ascribes negative values to his surroundings, his values are in a perpetual state of flux and he is never the most reliable character.
