In this struggle for survival, further development and profit realization, human resource management is recognized as a powerful tool for achieving business success and business efficiency. To timely anticipate, acquire and select human resources whose knowledge and skills enable further growth of the enterprise are the key tasks of human resources management. To provide quality staffing skills, relevant and timely information that may and should be provided "business intelligence" is needed. Business intelligence implies the process of gathering data and information from internal and external business environments and transforming them into business knowledge based on which business decisions are made. It is a strategic management resource and a crucial factor in formulating quality business strategies. This paper seeks to demonstrate the importance and necessity of applying business intelligence to modern human resource management.
