Abstract
Ovim radom nastojala se prikazati i objasniti igrifikacija kao i mogućnosti njene primjene unutar nastave i konkretno unutar nastave sociologije u srednjim školama. To se napravilo prikazom njenog određenja, njenih elemenata kao i prednosti i nedostataka sukladno recentnoj literaturi i iskustvima nekih praktičara. Predstavljene su i određene ideje i primjeri provedbe igrifikacije kako bi se prikazalo na što se odnosi igrifikacija. Zatim se prikazuje nastava sociologije i koristi koje igrifikacija može imati za nju, što se između ostalog vidi kroz mogućnosti razvijanja sociološke imaginacije kod učenika. Istraživanjem su se ispitala mišljenja nastavnika sociologije o igrifikaciji iz kojih se vidi da svi ispitanici koriste barem neki oblik igrifikacije u nastavi te su iskustva većinom pozitivna uz iznimke. Ispitanici smatraju igrifikaciju vrlo pozitivnom u nastavi sociologije te smatraju da je ona korisna za dostizanje odgojno-obrazovnih ciljeva i ishoda nastave. Također vide pozitivan utjecaj igrifikacije na motivaciju i angažman učenika u nastavi sociologije, ali su svjesni i nedostataka primjene igrifikacij te potrebe za dodatnim usavršavanjem u tom području kako bi mogli uspješno implementirati igrifikaciju u svoj nastavni rad.
Abstract (english)
This paper tried to show and explain gamification as well as its place within education and specifically within sociology education in high schools. This was done through the presentation of its definition, its elements as well as the advantages and disadvantages in accordance with recent literature and the experiences of some practitioners. Certain ideas and examples of the implementation of gamification were also presented in order to show what gamification refers to. It then focuses on the teaching of sociology and the benefits that gamification can have for it, which can be seen, among other things, through the possibilities of developing sociological imagination in students. The research examined the opinions of sociology teachers about gamification, from which it can be seen that all respondents use at least some form of gamification in their teaching, and the experiences are mostly positive, with some exceptions. Respondents consider gamification to be very positive in the teaching of sociology, and they believe that it is useful for achieving educational goals and teaching outcomes. They see the positive impact of gamification on students' motivation and engagement in sociology classes, but they are also aware of the shortcomings of the application of gamification and the need for additional training in that area in order to be able to successfully implement gamification in their teaching work.
