Abstract
Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi ispitivanjem leksičke kompetencije među studentima češkog jezika i književnosti na prijediplomskoj razini studija. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela: teorijski i istraživački dio. U teorijskom dijelu pruža se uvid u razvoj leksičke kompetencije u sklopu jezične i modela komunikacijske kompetencije te se navode pokušaji njezinog definiranja. Prikazuju se i predložene sastavnice i dimenzije koje opisuju što podrazumijeva leksička kompetencija, a poseban naglasak stavljen je na receptivno-produktivnu dimenziju. Također je predstavljen pregled nekoliko istraživanja u kojima se pokušala ispitati leksička kompetencija. Istraživački se dio sastoji od anketnog upitnika i zadataka koji ispituju produktivno i receptivno leksičko znanje studenata. Navode se ciljevi i hipoteze istraživanja te se na kraju analiziraju, uspoređuju i zaključuju rezultati dobiveni istraživanjem.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá lexikální kompetencí studentů českého jazyka a literatury na bakalářské úrovni studia. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části je poskytnut pohled na rozvoj lexikální kompetence jako součásti jazykové a modelu komunikativní kompetence a jsou uvedeny pokusy o její definování. Prezentovány jsou navržené komponenty a dimenze, které popisují, co lexikální kompetence obnáší, a zvláštní důraz je kladen na receptivně-produktivní dimenzi. Také je uveden přehled několika zkoumání, která se pokoušela prohlížet lexikální kompetenci. Výzkumná část se skládá z dotazníku a úkolů, které zkoumají produktivní a receptivní lexikální znalosti studentů. Jsou stanoveny cíle a hypotézy výzkumu a na závěr jsou výsledky výzkumu analyzovány, porovnány a dovedeny k závěru.
Abstract (english)
This master's thesis examines the lexical competence among students of Czech language and literature at the undergraduate level of study. The paper is divided into two parts: theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part, an insight into the development of lexical competence is provided as part of linguistic and within models of communicative competence. Also, various definitions of lexical competence are given. The proposed components and dimensions that describe what lexical competence entails are presented, and the emphasis is given to the receptive-productive dimension. An overview of several studies that have attempted to examine lexical competence is also given. The research part consists of a questionnaire and tasks that examine students' productive and receptive lexical knowledge. The objectives and hypotheses of the research are stated and finally the results are analyzed, compared and concluded.
