The topic of this theis is the early Christian topography of Šibenik-Knin County. The first part of the theis will present the history of Christianity in the Roman province of Dalmatia, and will deal with a particularly interesting topic related to the late antique dioceses in the Šibenik-Knin County. In the second part of the paper we will focus on an overview of early Christian sites in Šibenik-Knin County, which are divided into two categories, ie the sites where the early Christian church was confirmed and those with strong indications that the early Christian church existed. There are ten confirmed early Christian churches in the Šibenik-Knin County. The earliest Christian oratories were confirmed at two sites. One was built near the Municipium Rider, ie in Danilo at the position of Stari šematorij, and the other in the village of Čupići near Trbounje. For most of the confirmed early Christian churches can be determined that they were built inside or in the immediate vicinity of a late antique agricultural estates. It is interesting that the only municipium with a confirmed church is Rider, while for example in Scardona, which was also the episcopal center, no early Christian church has been found so far. Most churches can be said to have combined congregational and sepulchral purposes. As for the typology of churches, almost all are single-nave buildings with an apse. In addition to this shape, we also find the complex type of the churches with a series of auxiliary rooms and the churches with a trinconchal sanctuary.
