Abstract
Klassenliteratur ist ein Begriff, der sich erst im 21. Jahrhundert durchgesetzt hat. Früher verstand man unter Klassenliteratur einfach Arbeiterliteratur und in dieser Zeit entstand auch Karin Strucks Klassenliebe, ein Roman, der das Thema des Klassenwechsels in die deutsche Literatur eingeführt hat. In den letzten Jahren hat Anke Stelling das Thema der Klasse wiederbelebt, mit ihrem Roman Bodentiefe Fenster. Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit gibt einen historischen Hintergrund zur Klassenliteratur um 1970 und im 21. Jahrhundert und hat zum Ziel, durch die genannten Romane, die in Detail vergleicht werden, den Wandel dieser Literatur zu zeigen und eine Frauenperspektive hervorzuheben. Im Anschluss werden noch die Möglichkeiten zur Zukunft der Klassenliteratur ersucht.
Abstract (english)
Class literature is a term, that has just started being used in the 21st century. Prior to this, class literature was primarily seen as working-class literature and it was within this framework that Karin Struck wrote her novel Klassenliebe, which introduced the topic of class change to German literature. In the last years Anke Stelling revived the topic of class with her novel Bodentiefe Fenster. This thesis explores the historical development of class literature from the 1970s to the present and its goal is to show the shift of class literature, especially from a female perspective, through the mentioned novels. Finally, the thesis considers future directions for class literature.
