Abstract
U osnovne škole diljem Republike Hrvatske unatrag nekoliko godina ušao je micro:bit, zanimljiva nova tehnologija koja puno toga obećava. Ovim se diplomskim radom nastojalo odgovoriti kako su učenici doživjeli rad s micro:bit uređajem. Teorijski dio rada uključuje opis suvremenih društvenih promjena, povijesni pregled razvoja računala, neke odrednice korištenja tehnologije u nastavi i prikaz samog micro:bit računala. Sve navedeno dovelo je do empirijskog istraživanja kojemu je cilj bio ispitati kako učenici doživljavaju rad s micro:bitom u nastavi. Istraživanje je provedeno u dvije osnovne škole, u ukupno četiri osma razreda, metodom ankete. Za potrebe istraživanja postavljene su tri hipoteze: H1: Postoji razlika između djevojčica i dječaka u prihvaćanju micro:bita; H2: Učenici doživljavaju micro:bit jednostavnim za upotrebu; i H3: Učenici s dominantno odličnim ocjenama pozitivno prihvaćaju upotrebu micro:bita u nastavi. Na osnovi našeg uzorka ne postoji razlog za odbacivanjem bilo koje od tri hipoteze.
Abstract (english)
The BBC micro:bit is a handheld, programmable micro-computer, widely used in primary schools in Croatia. The aim of this paper was to answer how the students experienced working with the micro:bit device. The theoretical part of the work includes a description of contemporary social changes, the historical development of computers, some theoretical work about technology and teaching, and the specifications of the micro:bit device itself. All of this has led to an empirical research aimed at examining how students experience micro:bit in teaching. The research was conducted in two primary schools, in total of four eighth grade, by the survey method. For the purposes of research, three hypotheses were set: H1: There is a difference between girls and boys in accepting micro:bits; H2: Students experience the micro:bit to be easy to use; and H3: Students with predominantly excellent grades positively accepted micro:bits in teaching. Based on our sample there is no reason to reject any of the three hypotheses.
