Abstract
U ovom radu usporedit će se dva načina izrade Web sadržaja: najpoznatiji alat za upravljanje sadržajem –WordPress i ručno kodiranje. Prikazat će se općenito što su alati za upravljanje sadržajem (CMS) te koja je važnost WordPressa za Web razvoj. Također će se objasniti počeci Weba te zašto su HTML, CSS i JavaScript od iznimne važnosti za izradu Web sadržaja općenito. Drugi dio rada je praktični dio koji se bavi usporedbom kreiranja jednostavne Web stranice koristeći WordPress i ručno kodiranje. Pritom će se prikazati glavne prednosti, mane i mogućnosti oba načina izrade Web sadržaja. Cilj usporedbe je odgovoriti na pitanje: „Mogu li CMS alati zamijeniti ručno kodiranje Web stranica?” Zaključno će se raspraviti moguća budućnost za izradu Web sadržaja.
Abstract (english)
This paper will compare two ways of creating Web content: the most well-known content management tool - WordPress and manual coding. It will be shown what Content Management Systems (CMS) are and what is the importance of WordPress for Web development. It will also explain the beginnings of the Web and why HTML, CSS and JavaScript are extremely important for creating Web content in general. The second part of the paper is a practical part that deals with the comparison of creating a simple Web site using WordPress and manual coding. The main advantages, disadvantages and possibilities of both ways of creating Web content will be presented. The aim of the comparison is to answer the question "Can CMS tools replace manual Website coding?" In conclusion, the possible future for the creation of Web content will be discussed.
