Abstract
Ovaj rad primarno se bavi životom i djelom najpoznatije portugalske autorice Florbele Espanca te interpretacijom i prijevodom njezine zbirke soneta O Livro do Nosso Amor (Knjiga naše ljubavi). Pružen je uvid u biografiju i cjelokupno stvaralaštvo književnice. U radu se naglašava iznimna važnost konteksta nastanka književnih radova, posebice poezije, stoga je objašnjeno kako je tumačenje soneta portugalske pjesnikinje nastalih u prvoj polovici XX. stoljeća nemoguće bez uzimanja u obzir tadašnje društvene, umjetničke i političke situacije svijeta i Portugala. Poseban je naglasak stavljen i na pojedine segmente metodologije znanosti o prevođenju te su izvršene traduktološke analize vlastitih i postojećih prijevoda soneta autorice na više jezika. Cilj rada je približiti čitateljskoj publici opus Florbele Espanca te objasniti složenost, ali i mogućnosti tumačenja i prevođenja poezije.
Abstract (english)
This paper primarily deals with the life and work of the most famous Portuguese female author Florbela Espanca as well as with the interpretation and translation of her collection of sonnets O Livro do Nosso Amor (The Book of Our Love). An insight into the biography and the entire work of the poet is provided. The paper also emphasizes the importance of the context of that literary works, especially poetry. Furthermore, it is explained that the interpretation of Espanca’s sonnets created in the first half of the twentieth century is impossible without taking into account the social, artistic, and political situation in the world and Portugal. A special accent was put on certain segments of the methodology of translation science which were in correlation with translation analyzes of both the author's own and existing translations in several languages of the sonnets. The aim of this paper is to bring the work of Florbela Espanca closer to the readership, as to explain the complexity and the possibilities of interpreting and translating poetry.

Este trabalho tem por assunto principalmente a vida e a obra da mais famosa autora portuguesa, Florbela Espanca, bem como a interpretação e a tradução da sua coleção de sonetos O Livro do Nosso Amor. É fornecida uma visão detalhada sobre a biografia e toda a obra da poetisa. O trabalho também enfatiza a importância do contexto da realização de obras literárias, especialmente da poesia. Ademais, explica-se que a interpretação dos sonetos é impossível sem ter em conta a situação social, artística e política do mundo e de Portugal na primeira metade do século XX quando a autora os criava. Também são destacados certos segmentos da metodologia da tradutologia que estão em correlação com as análises de tradução dos sonetos. Eram analisadas traduções próprias da autora do trabalho e as traduções existentes em várias línguas. O objetivo deste trabalho é aproximar a obra de Florbela Espanca aos leitores, assim como explicar a complexidade e as possibilidades de interpretação e tradução da poesia.
