Abstract
Legenda o Picokima, kao pobjeda lokalnog stanovništva nad Osmanlijama (Turcima) nastala je sredinom 16. stoljeća te se usmenom predajom prenosila đurđevačkim krajem. Po uzoru na legendu, 1968. godine nastao je scenski prikaz koji je 1977. postao središnjim djelom manifestacije Picokijada. Koristeći kvalitativnu kulturnoantropološku metodologiju, u ovom radu istražuje se uloga tradicijske kulture u obilježavanju legende o Picokima te kako su Picoki postali marker lokalnog identiteta. Tijekom pola stoljeća program Picokijade sadržavao je brojne sportske aktivnosti, gastronomskih i vinskih ponuda i natjecanja, folklornih, glazbenih, plesnih, dramskih i mnogih drugih sadržaja. Prepoznat je i nacionalni značaj ove manifestacije te joj je 2007. godine dodijeljen i trajni status nematerijalnog kulturnog dobra Republike Hrvatske. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti što se od početaka ove manifestacije i scenskog prikaza mijenjalo, dodavalo i transformiralo, kako manifestacija danas izgleda te koji se elementi tradicijske kulture u njoj koriste.
Abstract (english)
The legend of Picoki originated in the mid-16th century and was transmitted from generation to generation in the area of Đurđevac. Following the example of a legend, a stage show was created in 1968 and later became a central part of the Picokijada event. This paper describes how this legend became the basis for the stage presentation and how it was transformed and became recognizable over time. Considering the diverse program of Picokijada, from sports and recreational activities, gastronomic offers and competitions, folklore, music, dance, drama and other content, the aim of this thesis is to examine what has changed, what has been added and transformed since the beginning of this event and its first stage show, as well as what the event looks like today and what elements of traditional culture are presented.
