Abstract
L’objectif de ce mémoire a été l’analyse et la traduction de la première partie du roman de David Foenkinos Nos séparations. La manière dont ce mémoire est conçu est d’élaborer d’abord ce que la traduction est effectivement, puis les principes de base de la traduction et de la traductologie ont été introduits ; à la suite, les unités de traduction et les procédés de traduction ont été exposés plus en détail. La partie centrale du mémoire est la traduction du texte original français, suivie par la description des processus de traduction de certaines parties du texte mentionné ci-dessus. Etant donné que la notion d’article représente un intérêt particulier pour les locuteurs croates qui parlent le français, vu que l’article en croate n’existe pas, le dernier chapitre du mémoire (y compris ses sous-chapitres) est dédié à cette catégorie de mots et à ses fonctions en français ; quelles sont les possibilités de la traduire lors de la traduction vers le croate et, finalement, les exemples précis de l’article dans le texte choisi.
Abstract (croatian)
Glavni je cilj ovoga diplomskog rada analiza i prijevod odabranog, prvog, dijela romana Davida Foenkinosa Nos séparations. Rad je koncipiran na način da se, nakon uvodnoga dijela, promišlja o tome što prijevod zapravo jest, donose se osnovne postavke prevođenja i traduktologije te se pobliže objašnjavaju prijevodne jedinice te procesi samog prevođenja. Središnji dio rada te njegova okosnica sâm je prijevod francuskoga izvornika, nakon kojeg su opisani procesi prevođenja pojedinih dijelova spomenutog izvornika. S obzirom na to da poseban interes u prevođenju s francuskoga na hrvatski budi član, koji hrvatski jezik nema, zadnje je poglavlje, zajedno s njegovim potpoglavljima, posvećeno upravo toj kategoriji riječi i onome što ona jest u francuskom, koje su mogućnosti njezina prijevoda na hrvatski jezik te, naposljetku, primjeri prijevoda člana u odabranom tekstu.
