Abstract
Najveći dio ljudske komunikacije zauzima spontani govor. Unatoč njegovoj automatiziranosti, kao rezultat kompleksnosti procesa govorne proizvodnje javljaju se razne disfluentnosti u govoru, a prema procjenama ih se na 100 riječi pojavi od 2 do čak 26 (Fox Tree, 1995). U njih se, uz praznu stanku, nefonematiziranu zvučnu stanku, pogrešan početak i ispravljanje te ponavljanje, ubrajaju i poštapalice (Horga, 1994). Novija istraživanja poštapalica opovrgavaju tvrdnje da su one neestetski, suvišni i nepotrebni dodaci govoru te nužno obilježje niskog stila. U ovom je istraživanju analizirana upotreba isključivo leksikaliziranih poštapalica u okviru spontanog medijskog govora razgovornog stila. Istraživanjem su s jedne strane obuhvaćene ozbiljne, a s druge zabavne emisije Hrvatske radiotelevizije, dok korpus sačinjavaju jednominutni govorni uzorci ukupno 40 govornika: 20 muških i 20 ženskih. Poštapalicama su bile smatrane riječi koje nisu semantički povezane s ostatkom izričaja ili je pak govor njima prezasićen, a analizirane su prema učestalosti pojavljivanja, vrsti riječi, spolnim razlikama, mjestu u govornom izričaju, stupnju formalnosti te funkciji.
Abstract (english)
Major part of human communication is spontaneous speech. Despite its automaticity, as a result of the complexity of the process of speech production, various disfluencies in speech occur, according with estimates ranging from 2 to 26 disfluencies per 100 words (Fox Tree, 1995). Besides silent pause, non-phonemic sound pause, false start correction and repetition, fillers are counted as disfluencies as well. Recent researches of fillers refute claims that they are unaesthetic, redundant and unnecessary additions to speech and necessary characteristic of low style. In this research, the use of exclusively lexicalized fillers within the spontaneous media speech of conversational style was analyzed. This research covered both formal and informal shows, broadcasted on Croatian Radiotelevision, while corpus is consisted of one-minute speech samples of a total of 40 speakers: 20 male and 20 female. Words that weren't semantically connected to the rest of utterance were considered as fillers, and they were analyzed accordingly to the frequency of their occurrence, type of word, gender differences, place in speech utterance, degree of formality and their function.
