Abstract | U radu su predstavljene dosad neistražene slike iz dubrovačke likovne baštine baroknog razdoblja iz crkve sv. Nikole na Prijekom. S aspekta formalne i ikonografske analize obrađene su oltarna pala Krunidba sv. Katarine Aleksandrijske sa sv. Marijom Magdalenom i sv. Pavlom, slike Skidanje s križa, Sv. Jeronim i sv. Bartolomej, Sv. Vlaho te slike smještene na pjevalištu: Sv. Vlaho, Sv. Dominik, Sv. Antun Padovanski, Sv. Franjo Asiški i Sv. Toma Akvinski. Identifikacijom likovnih uzora za oltarnu palu Krunidba sv. Katarine Aleksandrijske sa sv. Marijom Magdalenom i sv. Pavlom, sliku Sv. Jeronim i sv. Bartolomej, kao i za dva djela na pjevalištu, Sv. Dominik i Sv. Franjo Asiški otkrivena je povezanost neznanih dubrovačkih naručitelja slikarskih djela također neznanih umjetnika u navedenoj dubrovačkoj crkvici s Agostinom Carraccijem (Bologna, 1557. – Parma, 1602.), s baroknim Rimom, odnosno kiparima koji su jedni od autora skulptura na bazilici sv. Petra u Rimu, Pierrom Legrosom (Le Gros) (Pariz, 1666. – Rim, 1719.) i Carlom Monaldijem (Rim, 1691. – Rim, 1760.), kao i s venecijanskim majstorom Tizianom Vecellijem (Pieve di Cadore, oko 1490 . – Venecija, 1576.). |
Abstract (english) | This thesis introduces previously unstudied paintings from Dubrovnik's art heritage from the Baroque period in the church of St. Nicholas at Prijeko Street in Dubrovnik. From the aspect of formal and iconographic analysis, the altarpiece of The Coronation of St. Catherine of Alexandria with St. Mary Magdalene and St. Paul, paintings The Descent from the Cross, St. Jerome and St. Bartholomew, St. Vlaho and the paintings located on the choir: Sv. Vlaho, Sv. Dominik, Sv. Antun Padovanski, Sv. Francis of Assisi and St. Thomas Aquinas. By identifying the artistic role models for the paintings The Crowning of Saint Catherine of Alexandria with saints Mary Magdalene and Paul, St. Jerome and St. Bartholomew, and two paintings from the church choir, St. Dominic and St. Francis of Assisi, a link has been discovered between the unknown purchasers of the aforementioned paintings, that were all done by unknown artists, and Agostino Carracci (Bologna, 1557. – Parma, 1602.), the baroque Rome, or more closely the sculptors that were among the authors of statues of founders of religious orders for the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Pierre Legros (Le Gros) (Paris, 1666. – Rome, 1719.) and Carlo Monaldi (Rome, 1691. – Rome, 1760.), and the Venetian master Tiziano Vecelli (Pieve di Cadore, c. 1490 . – Venice, 1576.). |
