Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje konstrukciju značenja Zida boli na autentičnom mjestu na Selskoj cesti te kako je premještanje s izvorne lokacije utjecalo na njegovo značenje i prihvaćanje u javnosti iz perspektive stručnjaka. Uz to, ponudit će se odgovori na pitanja na koji se način odvijala institucionalizacija ovog spomenika i je li ona uspješno provedena. Tako će se umjesto političkih, ideoloških i umjetničkih aspekta spomenika, pružiti analiza prostorne dimenzije koja često ostaje u pozadini. U radu primjenjuju se sociološki koncepti prostora, mjesta i atmosfere na analizu procesa i aktera koji su sudjelovali u postavljanju ovog spontanog spomenika žrtvama Domovinskog rata te njegova izmještanja i pokušaja institucionalizacije na Mirogoju. U istraživačkom dijelu rada provedeni su intervjui sa stručnim sugovornicima iz relevantnih struka te je provedena refleksivna tematska analiza.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the construction of the meaning of the Wall of pain at its authentic location of Selska cesta in Zagreb and how the relocation impacted the meaning and public acceptance of this spontaneous monument. Furthermore, it will be analyzed how the institutionalization took place and was it successfully carried out. Instead of focusing on the political, ideological or artistic dimension of a monument this thesis is focused on the spatial dimension which is often disregarded in similar research. The paper follows the sociological explanation of space, place and atmosphere and its application on the process and actors that contributed in the initial placement and later relocation of the spontaneous monument of the Croatian war of independence and its victims to the Mirogoj cemetery. The second part of the paper presents the results of qualitative research, ie, conducted seven interviews with experts in spatial themes, monuments and memory making and the application of reflexive thematic analysis.
