Abstract
Ovaj se rad bavi prikazom života i djela (filozofkinje) Hanne Arendt, a potom i poglavljima analize esejskih zapisa o zlu, nasilju i krivnji. Uz oslonac na literaturu poput Lavlje jazbine autorice Susie Lienfield znanstveno-istraživački se analizira i kritički interpretiraju stavovi uglednih intelektualaca (među kojima je i Hannah Arendt) židovskog podrijetla i lijevog političkog svjetonazora o pitanjima izraelske državnosti, cionizma i izraelsko-palestinskih odnosa koji otvara i odgovara na brojna pitanja iz područja povijesti, religije itd. Hannah Arendt vidi strah od rasuđivanja, odnosno osporavanje mogućnosti samostalnog i nepristranog prosuđivanja, što se moglo primijetiti u reakcijama na njezinu knjigu o Eichmannu u Jeruzalemu: Izvještaj o banalnosti zla. Prema riječima autorice : čista (filozofska) istina i politika se međusobno isključuju. Tako da je za sebe rekla da nije filozof nego teoretičar moći.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with presentation of life and work of the philosopher Hannah Arendt, followed by chapters on the analysis of essays on evil, violence and guilt. Relying on literature such as Susie Lienfield's The Lion's Den, the views of prominent intellectuals (including Hannah Arendt) of Jewish descent and left-wing political worldview on issues of Israeli statehood, Zionism, and Israeli-Palestinian relations and openness are scientifically analyzed and critically interpreted which answers a number of questions from the fields of history, religion etc. Hannah Arendt sees a fear of reasoning, in other words a challenge to the possibility of independent and impartial judgment, which could be seen in the reactions to her book about Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil. In Arendt’s terms: pure (philosophical) truth and politics are mutually exclusive. So that she said of herself that she was not a philosopher but a theorist of power.
