Abstract
Ovaj rad bio je koncipiran u dvije tematske cijeline: nacionalni muzej i Muzej hrvatskih izuma. Dok prvi dio rada opisuje razvoj institucije nacionalnog muzeja, njegovu ulogu i značaj tijekom povijesti ali i u suvremenom društvu, drugi dio rada pobliže objašnjava projekt Muzeja hrvatskih izuma. Muzej hrvatskih izuma u radu je predstavljen kao nacionalni muzej, objedinjujući u svojoj zbirci hrvatske izume i otkrića odnosno postignuća i tako jačajući hrvatski nacionalni identitet. Muzej hrvatskih izuma uspostavljen je prema temeljnim načelima baštinske ustanove, od lokacije na kojoj se nalazi preko prostorija koje sadržava do stalnog postava i zaposlenog stručnog osoblja te svih odgovarajućih materijala i sadržaja koji služe pri kvalitetnoj promidžbi i prezentaciji muzeja i onog što muzej nudi svojim korisnicima. U drugom dijelu rada poseban osvrt je pružen korisnicima muzeja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis was conceived in two thematic units: the National Museum and the Museum of Croatian Inventions. While the first part of the paper describes the development of the institution of the National Museum, its role and significance throughout history and in contemporary society, the second part explains in greater detail the project of the Museum of Croatian Inventions. The Museum of Croatian Inventions is presented in this thesis as a national museum, integrating in its collection Croatian inventions, discoveries and achievements, thus strengthening the Croatian national identity. The Museum of Croatian Inventions is established according to the basic principles of a heritage institution, from the location where it is situated through its various departments, its permanent exhibition and professional staff, as well as all relevant materials and contents that serve for quality promotion and presentation of the museum and of everything the museum has to offer to its users. In the second part of the paper special attention was given to the museum users.
