Abstract
This thesis comprises five translations with commentary. Excerpts from three books were translated from English into Croatian (The Establishment: And How They Get Away With It, Making Minds: what’s wrong with education, and what should we do about it, Reclaiming Conversation: The Power of Talk in a Digital Age), and excerpts from two books were translated from Croatian into English (Ekološki otisak, Iran u prezentu). The commentary mostly focused on translation ethics and the way in which looking at the translation through the lens of translation ethics helped the translation process. The comments provided give insight into this process and show the reasoning behind certain translation choices.
