Abstract
Profesionalni razvoj odgajatelja nužan je za poboljšanje kvalitete odgojno-obrazovnoga procesa, odnosno kulture odgojno-obrazovne ustanove. Kao što se od odgajatelja očekuje, stvaranje poticajnoga okruženja u kojem djeca uče djelovanjem i sudjelovanjem, tako i stručni suradnici trebaju stvarati poticajno i zdravo okruženje među odgajateljima u kojem će i oni većim dijelom učiti djelovanjem, sudjelovanjem i razmišljanjem o svojoj praksi. U nastavku ovoga rada usmjerit će se na razvojni put pedagoga i njihovu pedagošku kompentnost ključnu za rad s odgajateljima. Osvrnut će se na pristupe unapređivanju profesionalog rada u kojem će se spomenuti oblici profesionalnog usavršavanja odgajatelja kao i važnost akcijskih istraživanja i uloge odgajatelja kao refleksivnog praktičara. Na kraju rada slijedit će i izazovi s kojima se najčešće susreću pedagozi u profesionalnom usavršavanju odgajatelja, a potom i provedeno istraživanje o profesionalnom razvoju odgajatelja u jednom zagrebačkom vrtiću.
Abstract (english)
The professional development of educators is necessary for the improvement of the quality of the educational process; that is, the culture of the educational institution. In the same way that educators are expected to create a stimulating environment in which children learn by doing and participating, the members of the preschool’s professional team should be expected to create a stimulating environment among educators, in which they will learn through doing, participating, and refecting upon their practice. In the following section, the focus will be on the pedagogical developmental pedagogue and their pedagogical competence, which is essential for work with the educators. Furthermore, the focus will be on approaches to the professional development in which forms of professional development of educators will be mentioned, as well as the importance of action research and the role of educators as a reflexive practitioner. In the end, the focus will be on the most frequently challenges encountered by pedagogues in the professional development of educators, and conducted research about professional development of educators in one of kindergartens in Zagreb.
