Abstract Školska knjižnica mjesto je susreta svih dionika procesa učenja u školskom okruženju. U trenutku vrtoglavog napretka digitalnih tehnologija i pristupa informacijama knjižnica ima veliku i značajnu ulogu. Glavno obilježje postdigitalnog doba je brza dostupnost i razmjena informacija. U tom kontekstu potreba je i brza prilagodba obrazovnog sustava što znači da se javlja potreba za mijenjanje metoda i načina poučavanja.
Školska knjižnice trebala bi biti prostor gdje će učenici samostalno učiti, tražiti informacije, surađivati s drugim učenicima i nastavnicima te sudjelovati u životu zajednice.
Uloga školskog knjižničara je poticanje učenika na samostalnost preko organizacije projekata, projektne i istraživačke nastave te razvoja samokritičnosti i suradničkog odnosa prema drugim učenicima i učiteljima te stručnim suradnicima. Upravo glavna paradigma Cjelovite kurikulumske refome je poučavanje za ostvarivanje kompetencija 21. stoljeća a to su kreativnost, komunikativnost, kolaborativnost i najvažnije razvoj digitalnih tehnologiju.
Na putu ostvarenja tog procesa nužnost je uvođenje novih metoda poučavanja. Glavni naglasak u tom procesu je razvoj samoregulirajućeg učenja koje potičemo kod učenika uvođenjem istraživačke nastave. Istraživačka nastava je ona koja se temelji na samostalnom pronalaženju informacija. Uz istraživačku nastavu veliki naglasak potrebno je staviti i na zastupljenost projektne nastave. Školski projekt najčešći je oblik provođenja projekte nastave. Veliku i značajnu ulogu i poticanju provođenje projektne nastave imaju upravo knjižničari. Važno je izabrati zanimljivu temu, odrediti projektne zadatke te definirati i rasporediti aktivnosti provođenja projekta. Provođenje projekta uključuje definiranje cilja, ishoda, sudionika, vremenik i budžet. Nakon početnog planiranja, provođenja projekta slijede faze evaluacija i razmjena znanja.
Na temelju istraživanja provedenog u svrhu ovog diplomskog rada provedenog na 45 školskih knjižničara na području Republike Hrvatske pokušava se doznati uključenost školskih knjižničara u projektnu nastavu te uključenost lokalne zajednice u projekte škole. Cilj istraživanja je osnažiti školske knjižnice na korištenje i promicanje školskih projekata kao metodu poučavanja.
Školski knjižničari velikim dijelom koriste istraživačko učenje i projektnu nastavu u organizaciji rada knjižnice. Školske knjižnice i knjižničari djelomično uključuju lokalnu zajednicu u rad školskih projekata što ostavlja veliki prostor za nadogradnju i promjene.
Abstract (english) The school library is the place of meeting for all the stakeholders of the learning process in schools. With digital technologies and access to information advancing at the dizzying rate, the school library has a major and significant role to play. The main feature of the post-digital era is the availability and the fast exchange of information. In this context, a flexibility and adaptation of the education system is needed, which means that teachers' methods and teaching styles must be updated as well.
School libraries should be a space where students study independently, look for information, collaborate with other students and teachers and learn how to participate in society.
The role of the school librarian is to encourage learners' independence through project and inquiry - based learning, and develop collaborative relationships with other students and teachers and expert associates. The main paradigm of the Croatian national curriculum is the instruction for the achievement of the competences of the 21st century, such as creativity, communication, collaboration, and most importantly development of media literacy.
In the course of this process, it is necessary to introduce new teaching methods. The main emphasis of this process is the development of self-regulated learning that should be fostered in students by introducing inquiry based - learning. Inquiry - based teaching and learning is based on enabling students to find information independently. In addition to inquiry based instruction, the emphasis should also be placed on problem based and project based learning. The school librarians have a very important role in the implementation of the school project. It is important to select an interesting topic, define project aims and activities. Project implementation involves defining the objective, outcomes, participants, timetable and budgets. After initial planning, the implementation of the project will be followed by the evaluation and dissemination phases.
In the research carried out on the respondent sample of 45 school librarians in Croatia, two hypotheses were tested: the involvement of school librarians in inquiry and project based teaching and learning and the involvement of the local community in school projects. The aim of this thesis is to establish the new and adapted roles of school libraries in the post-digital era. The research confirms the hypothesis according to which school librarians are regularly organizing or participating in inquiry and project- based learning and teaching as part of the school library's syllabi. The research doesn't confirm the hypotheses according to which school libraries and librarians involve the local community in school projects which leaves a lot of room for improvements.
