The aim of this work is to collect and analyze the results of creativity research on Instagram from a pedagogical perspective. A systematic review of the literature was carried out, and the emphasis was on creativity and its effects on pupils, students and young people and on the teaching process. The research was completed in the period from 2011 to 2020, and the data sources used are the Portal of Croatian scientific and professional journals - Hrčak and the Digital Repository of the University of Zagreb. The analyzed research is divided according to the field of work, namely creativity, work with teachers and the influence of Instagram. According to the results of the research, we can conclude that young people use social networks to initiate creative work, they use them for the purpose of motivation, creation of new ideas and personal progress, progress of children and the educational process. The results also show that teachers must use more teaching methods that stimulate students' creativity and that Instagram has a great influence on how young people think about themselves, and by appearing on social networks they want to present themselves in the best way. Going to the online world creates a new virtual identity, but also develops self-confidence. The analysis of the research provided guidelines for future research that should focus on encouraging teachers to use ICT more often, pointing out to teachers the importance of using ICT in teaching and greater use of teaching methods that encourage creativity in students.
