The subject of the master's thesis is the analysis of auditory processing disorder, its conditions, and perspectives in individual rehabilitation. The focus will be on the symptoms related to auditory processing problems, as well as the symptoms and diagnosis of auditory processing. One of the goals of the thesis is to present task categories in diagnosing auditory processing disorders. The disorder itself will be examined, available tests will be reviewed, and previous tests extracted from various interdisciplinary works will be analyzed. The emphasis will be on words and creating vocabulary in tests that are suitable for children, specifically for the age of the rehabilitated child, to facilitate progress evaluation. Throughout the thesis, the focus will be on rehabilitating problematic areas through tests and age-appropriate vocabulary, explaining each area where difficulties may arise, such as temporal aspects of listening, sound localization and lateralization, and spectral listening. By identifying auditory processing disorders, it is possible to address conditions and methods of presenting speech information, thereby alleviating difficulties and improving the overall success of children in activities based on speech-language communication. The main objective of the thesis is to present auditory processing disorder and rehabilitation exercises that can help improve the overall success of children with this disorder.
