Abstract
Das Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist, den Einfluss und die Verwendung von Filmen in DaF-Unterricht auszuwerten und die dabei verschiedenen Vorteile und Herausforderungen hervorzuheben und zu analysieren. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in einen theoretischen und einen praktischen Teil, wobei im theoretischen Teil die Entwicklung der Filmdidaktik und der audiovisuellen Methode, Vorteile und Herausforderungen des Filmeinsatzes im DaF-Unterricht, die Rolle der Lehrkräfte in Bezug auf den Filmeinsatz im Unterricht und die Didaktisierung spezifischer Filmgenres behandelt wird. Hingegen liefert der praktische Teil der Arbeit zwei Unterrichtsentwürfe, wobei der Film „Das Leben der Anderen“ für den Unterricht im Gymnasium, und der Film „Das Dschungelbuch“ für den Unterricht in der Grundschule behandelt wurde.
