Abstract
Literatur ist seit langem ein Teil des FSU und bietet zweifellos viele Vorteile und fördert die sprachlichen Fähigkeiten. Der Gegenstand dieser Diplomarbeit ist die Umsetzung von Kinderliteratur bzw. leichten Lektüren im DaF-Unterricht. Das Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist es zu untersuchen, wie man durch Hören und Lesen einerseits und durch Hören und Sehen andererseits den Wortschatz erlernt und das globale Verstehen einer Fabel erlangt. Hierfür wurden zwei Unterrichtsstunden in zwei Grundschulen auf der Insel Krk durchgeführt. Zur Durchführung der Aktionsforschung dienten neben den Unterrichtsstunden vier Datenerhebungsinstrumente: kollegiale Beobachtung, Selbstbeobachtung, ein Evaluationsbogen und eine Kontrollübung. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung zeigen, dass sich leichte Lektüren positiv auf den Unterricht auswirken und dass das Hör-Sehverstehen im Gegensatz zum Lese- und Hörverstehen effektiver beim Erlernen neuen Wortschatzes und beim globalen Verstehen einer Geschichte ist.
Abstract (english)
Literature has long been a part of foreign language classes and undoubtedly offers many advantages and develops language skills. The object of this thesis is the implementation of children’s literature i.e., easy readers in German as a Foreign Language (GFL) classes. The aim of this thesis is to examine how vocabulary acquisition and global understanding of a fable can be achieved through listening and reading on one hand, and through listening and viewing on the other hand. To achieve this, two lessons were conducted in two primary schools on the island of Krk. For the purpose of the action research, four data collection instruments were used: collegial observation, self-observation, an evaluation questionnaire, and a control exercise. The findings of the study indicate that easy readers have a positive impact on classes and that listening and viewing comprehension, as opposed to reading and listening comprehension, is more effective in learning new vocabulary and achieving a global understanding of a story.
