Abstract
Pandemija COVIDa-19 predstavlja globalnu zdravstvenu i ekonomsku krizu čije su složene posljedice utjecale na svakodnevni život ljudi i njihove uloge unutar obitelji. Republika Hrvatska, kao i većina drugih država svijeta, poduzela je drastične mjere u svrhu sprječavanja širenja zaraze SARS-CoV-2 virusom. Obustava nastave i redovitog rada odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova, rad i nastava na daljinu te druge propisane mjere fizičkog distanciranja široki su raspon aktivnosti premjestile iz javne sfere u privatnu te su obitelji, u novim okolnostima, morale preuzeti odgovornost za njihovo uspješno izvršavanje. Stoga, cilj je ovog rada, zasnovanog na kvantitativnoj istraživačkoj paradigmi, bio usmjeren na istraživanje promjene u percepciji podjele kućanskih poslova i brige za djecu muškaraca i žena u odnosu na njihove partnere tijekom pandemije COVIDa-19 u usporedbi s prije njezinog početka. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno kako ni žene ni muškarci ne percipiraju promjene u raspodjeli rutinskih i povremenih kućanskih poslova te brige o djeci u usporedbi sa svojim partnerom tijekom pandemije, u odnosu na prije pandemije. Međutim, rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na postojanje neravnopravne raspodjele kućanskih poslova i brige za djecu između muškaraca i žena, posebice u kategoriji rutinskih kućanskih poslova.
Abstract (english)
The COVID-19 pandemic represents a global health and economic crisis, the complex consequences of which have affected people's everyday lives and their roles within families. The Republic of Croatia, like most other countries, has implemented drastic measures to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The suspension of classes and regular activities in educational institutions, remote work and learning, and other prescribed physical distancing measures have shifted a wide range of activities from the public sphere to the private one. In these new circumstances, families had to take responsibility for their successful execution. Therefore, the aim of this study, based on a quantitative research paradigm, was to investigate changes in the perception of the division of household chores and childcare responsibilities between men and women in relation to their partners during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to before its onset. The research found that neither women nor men perceive changes in the distribution of routine and intermittent household chores and childcare compared to their partners during the pandemic, as compared to before the pandemic. However, the research results indicate the existence of an unequal distribution of household chores and childcare between men and women, especially in the category of routine household chores.
