Abstract
Razmatra se razvoj slobode počevši od procesa individuacije srednjeg vijeka i njegovih socijalnih, političkih, ekonomskih i religijskih prilika kako ih sagledava Erich Fromm. U svrhu analize dvojakosti problema slobode određuju se koncepti negativne slobode „od“ i pozitivne slobode „za“. Prikazani razvoj slobode sagledava se kroz prizmu teorije strukturacije Anthonnya Giddensa koristeći se njenim pojmovima strukture, akcije, socijalnog sistema, diskurzivne i praktične svijesti, refleksivnosti i ontološke sigurnosti. Daje se osvrt na razvoj individualizma kroz povijest s obzirom na Tocquevillea, Durkheima, Simmela i Dumonta. Prikazuje se način premošćivanja diskrepancije negativne i pozitivne slobode u svrhu realiziranja istinske autonomije i slobode kako to predviđa Fromm.
Abstract (english)
The development of freedom is considered starting from the process of individuation of the Middle Ages and its social, political, economic and religious circumstances as seen by Erich Fromm. In order to analyze the duality of the problem of freedom, the concepts of negative freedom "from" and positive freedom "for" are defined. The presented development of freedom is viewed through the prism of Anthony Giddens' theory of structuration, using its concepts of structure, action, social system, discursive and practical consciousness, reflexivity and ontological security. The development of individualism throughout the course of history is reviewed through key authors such as Tocqueville, Durkheim, Simmel and Dumont. It shows the way of bridging the discrepancy between negative and positive freedom in order to realize true autonomy and freedom as envisioned by Fromm.
