Abstract
U radu su istražena svojstva poli(metil-metakrilat-co-dodecil-metakrilat-co-oktadecil-metakrilata) koja utječu na njegovu primjenu kao snižavala tecišta baznog ulja. Procesi polimerizacije provedeni su u šaržnom kotlastom reaktoru, u toluenu kao otapalu, pri izotermnim uvjetima (91 °C) uz monofunkcionalni peroksidni inicijator. Ukupno je sintetizirano 9 terpolimera različitog sastava. Pripravljenim uzorcima terpolimera određeni su: konverzija gravimetrijskom metodom, sastavi 1H NMR... More spektroskopijom, raspodjele molekulskih masa kromatografijom na propusnom gelu te toplinska svojstva metodom diferencijalne pretražne kalorimetrije. Određena je konverzija reakcije koja se kreće u rasponu od 88,9 do 95,0 % te je utvrđeno da sastav ne utječe na konverziju reakcije. Određivanjem sastava 1H NMR spektroskopijom utvrđeno je da se ne razlikuje znatno od početne smjese monomera, uz maksimalno odstupanje od 2,35 %, te da udio zaostalog monomera u polimeru prosječno iznosi 1,03 ± 0,53 %. Maseni prosjeci molekulskih masa sintetiziranih terpolimera nalaze su u rasponu od 2,04×10^5 do 3,90×10^5. Smanjenjem udjela metil-metakrilata i povećanjem dugolančanih dodecil- i oktadecil-metakrilata u terpolimeru dolazi do pomaka temperature taljenja i kristalizacije prema višim temperaturama. Temperatura taljenja, promjenom sastava, mijenja se u rasponu od 1,0 do 15,5 °C, a temperatura kristalizacije od -9,3 do 4,9 °C. Udio kristalne faze povezan je s promjenom entalpije faznog prijelaza. Povećanjem udjela komonomera s dugolančanim bočnim skupinama raste udio kristalne faze od 5,5 do 10,2 %. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na to da sintetizirani terpolimeri zadovoljavaju uvjete koji su nužni za primjenu kao aditiva za snižavanje tecišta baznih mineralnih ulja. Less
Abstract (english)
In this thesis properties of poly(methyl-methacrylate-co-dodecyl-methacrylate-co-octadecyl-methacrylate) that influence its application as a pour point depressant were investigated. Batch polymerisation processes were performed in toluene as a solvent, under the isothermal conditions (91 °C), in the presence of monofunctional peroxide initiator. More determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy, molecular weight distribution with gel permeation chromatography and thermal properties by differential scanning calorimetry. Conversion was determined and they range from 88.9 % to 95.0 %. There is no influence of composition on the conversion obtained. It was found that the composition determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy was not significantly different from the initial monomer mixture, with a maximum deviation of 2.35 %. Proportion of residual monomers in the polymer is low on average 1.03 ± 0.53 mol %. Molecular weight averages of synthesized terpolymers are in the range of 2.04×10^5 to 3.90×10^5. Decrease of share of methyl methacrylate in terpolymer causes increase of melting and crystallization temperatures. Melting point temperatures range from 1.0 to 15.5 °C, while crystallization temperatures were in the range of -9.3 to 4.9 °C. Crystalline phase share in terpolymer increases from 5.5 to 10.2 % with increase in share of long-chain side groups comonomers.
