Environmental Protection in Chemical Engineering
Abstract
Temeljna je zadaća čovjeka zaštiti okoliš u kojemu se nalazi, kako promjenom vlastitih postupaka, tako i na razini cijelog društva. Naše osnovne životne potrebe vezane su uz čisti okoliš iz kojega proizlaze zdravo uzgojena hrana te čista voda i zrak. Kako bi se takvo stanje sačuvalo, potrebno je promijeniti ophođenje prema prirodi te primjenom prirodnih i tehničkih saznanja pomoći u njezinom obnavljanju. Nužno je uskladiti suvremeni život čovjeka i njegovih potreba kako bi obnovili ono što je okolišu negativno učinjeno. Industrijski otpadni tokovi najveći su izvor otpada i predstavljaju veliku opasnost po okoliš, bilo to kao čvrsti, kapljeviti ili plinoviti otpad. U ovome radu se opisuju karakteristike pojedinih industrijskih otpadnih tokova uz primjer alternativne obrade i nove mogućnosti obrade.
Abstract (english)
The basic task of man is to protect the environment in which he is located, both by changing his own actions and at the level of society as a whole. Our essential needs are related to clean environment from which we get food, water and air. In order to preserve such a situation, it is necessary to change behavior towards nature and use of natural and technical knowledge to help in its renewal. It is necessary to harmonize the modern life of man and his needs with the environment in order to restore what has been done negatively to the environment.. Industrial waste streams are the largest source of waste and pose a great threat to the environment, whether as solid, liquid or gaseous waste. This paper describes the characteristics of individual industrial waste streams with an example of alternative processing and new processing possibilities.
