Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je analizirati sastav patine uzorkovane sa sedam zagrebačkih skulptura i dvije kemijski sintetizirane umjetne patine. Za provedenu analizu korištena je elektrokemijska tehnika cikličke voltametrije mikročestica i Fourier transformacijska infracrvena spektroskopija (FTIR). Sastavne faze patine identificirane su usporedbom elektrokemijskih parametara uzoraka s elektrokemijskim parametrima referentnih spojeva: CuO, Cu2O, SnO, SnO2, CuCl, CuCl2 x 2H2O i CuSO4. Utvrđeno je da je na istoj brončanoj skulpturi, ovisno o mjestu uzorkovanja, moguće formiranje različitih korozijskih produkata tj. patina nije jednolika po svom sastavu. Zaključuje se da se ove dvije metode analize sastava međusobno nadopunjuju te da njihovo zajedničko korištenje uvelike doprinosi kvaliteti analize sastava patina brončanih skulptura i artefakata.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to analyze the composition of the patina collected from seven Zagreb sculptures and two chemically synthesized artificial patinas. The electrochemical technique of cyclic voltammetry of microparticles and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were used for the analysis. The component phases of the patina were identified by comparing the electrochemical parameters of the samples with the electrochemical parameters of the reference compounds: CuO, Cu2O, SnO, SnO2, CuCl, CuCl2 x 2H2O and CuSO4. It was found that on the same bronze sculpture, depending on the place of sampling, there is a possibility of different corrosion products forming. More precisely, the patina is not uniform in its composition. It is concluded that these two methods of composition analysis complement each other and that their simultaneous application greatly contributes to the quality of analysis of the patina composition of bronze sculptures and artifacts.
